This notice explains what the Project Smile website collects and how submitted information is used.

Information we collect
When you use a contact or donation-inquiry form, we collect the name, email address, organization, inquiry category, and message you choose to provide. The website does not ask for payment-card details, government identifiers, health information, or passwords.
How we use it
Project Smile uses form information only to review the inquiry, reply, coordinate an appropriate next step, protect the website from abuse, and keep reasonable records of the conversation.
Service providers
The website may use Vercel to host the site and process form requests, Resend to deliver form messages by email, Google Forms for student applications, and PayPal for hosted financial donations. Payment-card and PayPal account details are entered on PayPal and are not sent to or stored by this website. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.
Retention and sharing
We keep inquiry information only as long as reasonably needed to respond, coordinate the request, maintain necessary organizational records, or meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information. We share it only with team members and service providers who need it for these purposes, or when required by law.
Students and sensitive information
Please do not submit sensitive personal information through this website. If you are under 18, use the forms only for basic contact and involve a parent, guardian, teacher, or school administrator when appropriate. The site may publish approved member names, roles, school affiliations, class years, and biographies; contact us to request a correction or removal.
Your choices
You may ask Project Smile to correct or delete information you submitted, subject to any recordkeeping obligations. Send the request to the public email address listed on the Contact page.
